Live Capture Classic Menu Panel
Use the menu panel to perform tasks in Live Capture Classic.
Channel Groups
The Channel Groups menu displays the Channel Groups that are currently available.
Select the Channel Group you want to view and control.
Master Channel Actions
These options are available in the Master Channel Actions menu:

Select All Channels
—Select all channels displayed in the Channel View panel.

Deselect All Channels
—Deselect all channels displayed in the Channel View
panel.

Record Selected
—Record the currently selected channel(s). Record Selected oper-
ates in two different modes depending on whether Time-Shift has been enabled in
the workflow. See
in the
Creating Capture Workflows
chapter for informa-
tion about enabling and setting Time-Shift.

When Time-Shift is NOT enabled in the workflow, all channels start recording
immediately with no attempt to synchronize the start timecode.

When Time-Shift has been enabled in the workflow, the system attempts to
synchronize all of the selected channels to the exact same start timecode before
starting the recording. When recording starts, some portion of the frames in the
Time-Shift buffer are added to the start of the recorded file (going back in time to
included frames from the past).
All selected channels must have the same timecode source in order to be
synchronized to the exact same frame during the recording operation.
