Important safeguards

operating and maintenance instructions. For
your safety, it is necessary to refer to the

humidity.

Power supply
Battery operation
• Insert

ААA batteries (not included)
to the terminals inside the battery
compartment according to the polarity marks
(+ and -). Your set will have a limited
operation from the battery supply, but there is
now the advantage that, in case of a mains
current failure or power outage, your clock will
continue to work. The clock display will not
light up, the clock time and alarm setting will
be held in the clock memory by the battery
back-up system.
This enables you to move the set from place
to place without re-setting the clock every time.
The battery back-up system is only meant to
be used for short-term power failures. For
longer durations the batteries may become
exhausted or there may be some deviation in
accuracy.

When the batteries are exhausted, they
check that the voltage indicated on the rating
label corresponds to the mains voltage in your
location.

General operations
Setting time
• You have to set the clock time when you
approximately 40-50 cm from your head, for
example, on a bedside table.
Placement
• Place the device close to you,
should be removed from the set to prevent

work normally without batteries. However, if
disconnected from the mains, the clock
figures will flash when the mains are

• The appliance is for household use only.

adaptor into the DC adaptor input on the back
of the unit. Connect the power cord to the AC
household main outlet. Make sure the voltage
is compatible.
• Always remember to disconnect
the power cord from the main supply before
disconnecting it from the unit.
• When the time starts to blink touch
to adjust it. Touch to confirm. Setting
will be canceled if no button is pressed in
10
seconds.
• Choose between a 12-hour and 24-hour
modes by pressing . When the 12-hour
format is selected, AM or PM will be displayed.
•
Press
to adjust the brightness of
time display: Low - High - Off.

Press any button to resume the time display.
• When powered by batteries, time display
• Change current time by pressing
until the time starts
to blink. Touch to adjust it. Touch to
confirm. Setting will be canceled if no button is
