5.2 The NF62S

This section provides instructions for installing and using the NF62S and Image Viewer, which

are included with the NF620. The programs can be operated by a selected PC equipped with the

following requirements.

System Requirements

Intel Pentium IV processor or above (2.8 GHz or higher recommended).

512-MB RAM or above

Windows 2000, XP or above.

800x600 pixels, 24-bit color

1GB free hard-disk space for software installation.

In the multi-channel recording mode, the HD data transfer rates must be 66MB or above (100MB

or higher recommended).

5.2.1 Introduction to NF62S

The NF62S allows you to access many units of the NF620 from a remote desktop or a laptop

in a TCP/IP networking environment. It can perform the following functions.

View live images from the NF620.

Store, search, and review recorded video from an FTP server, PC, and SD card.

Change a regular record, event record, and timer properties.

Before you are ready to view images from a desktop, you need to have your NF620

networked by obtaining a 10/100 base-TX Ethernet data cable (Standard RJ-45) to connect

the NF620 to your LAN/WAN. Now enter the main menu to set the IP address.

5.2.2 Install the NF62S in your PC

Install the NF62S from the supported CD-R.
