4. Connect a 65 ±5psi inert gas supply (such as nitrogen) to
the brass fitting on the lower left rear panel of the ELSD,
with

5. Connect the external detector cable (Isco part
#250-0000-20) to the Rf (Figure 1-4).
6. Connect the other end of the cable to the ELSD, taking
care to observe polarity as indicated by the small tab on
the ground side of the connector (see Figure 1-4).
