SETTINGS

Setup the D8-1- analogue input module

1. 

Connect the D8-1 unit to the PC program Settings Manager. 

2. 

Go to MODBUS_ID and define what Modbus slave address   

that you want to assign your D8-1 unit, e.g. ‘1’. 

3. 

Go to CALIB_ID and define what signal type that the D8-1    

unit will receive, e.g. ‘4-20 mA’.

4. 

Go to SIGNALTYPE and define what signal type that the D8-1  

unit will receive, e.g. ‘Current’.

5. 

Save the new settings to the unit by clicking ‘Overwrite’. 

6. 

Disconnect the D8-1 unit from the PC. 

7. 

Turn the power off and then on to the D8-1 unit. 

Setup the Tiger receiver

1. 

Connect the Tiger receiver to the PC program Settings

                Manager. 
2. 

Go to section 4 for cluster 1, section 5 for cluster 2, section 6  

 

for cluster 3 or section 7 for cluster 4.

3. 

a. Go to MODBUSSENSORTYPE and select Sensor type  

 

setting.

 

b. Select Input signal- Then select D8-1. 

4. 

a. Go to MODBUSSLAVEADDRESS and select Slave address  

 

setting.

 

b. Select Input signal. Then enter the slave address.

5. 

a. Go to SENSORCHANNEL and select Sensor channel  

 

setting.

 

b. Select Input signal. Then select Sensor channel.

6.  

Disconnect the Tiger receiver from the PC. 

7.  

Restart the Tiger receiver. The red RS485-LED (17) in the D8-1  

 

unit flashes to indicate RS485 communication.
