G eneral Information
The Type L Plug-In is a fa s t-ris e , high
gain, calibrated pream plifier designed fo r use
with the Tektronix 530-, 540-, 550- and *580-
Series oscilloscopes. The unit contains a fast-
ris e dc am plifier sim ilar to the Type K Plug-
In Unit, plus a fa st-rise high-gain ac am plifier
which may be used to increase the sensitivity
by a factor of 10.
This instrument was adjusted at the factory
fo r best transient response. The L Unit alone
has a risetim e of 6 nanoseconds in AC or
