channel set, as long as the bandwidth of the channel set is less than the real-time bandwidth of the
instrument (40 MHz or 110 MHz, depending on model). However, if the bandwidth of the channel set
exceeds the realtime bandwidth of the instrument, the instrument will have to switch to swept mode and
stitch multiple acquisitions together to make the ACPR/MCPR measurement. If the instrument must
switch to swept acquisition mode, time-correlated results in other displays are not possible.
Dynamic Range
: Choose Dynamic Range when maximum dynamic range is more important than
time-correlated results in other displays. The Dynamic Range setting optimizes the dynamic range by
using a 40 MHz (or less) real-time bandwidth setting to make the acquisition. If the channel set bandwidth
is greater than 40 MHz, the instrument uses the swept acquisition mode to stitch multiple 40 MHz
bandwidth acquisitions together to capture the entire width of the channel set.

The Channels tab is where you specify the parameters for the channels measured in the MCPR display.
