MPEG Player initial setup

The veri

fi

cation procedures use the MPEG player to play out a test stream

fi

le.

Prepare the MPEG Player using the following steps.

1.

Start the MPEG Player by double-clicking the icon on the desktop.

NOTE.

If the Recommended Settings dialog box displays, dismiss the box by

selecting OK.

2.

Open the sym1.mpg transport stream

fi

le.

a.

Click File > Open and locate the

fi

le sym1.mpg (C:\TestStreams).

b.

Select the

fi

le and click Open.

3.

In the Play menu, set the following:

NOTE.

In the MPEG Player menus, a check mark appears next to the selected

setting for some menu parameters.

a.

Packet Size: 188.

b.

Clock: Select Default in the dialog box to display the Default Clock
dialog box. Select OK in the Default Clock dialog box.

c.

Update: On.
