Removal and Installation Procedures
Procedures for External Modules
Handle Unit
You need a screwdriver with a T-20 Torx tip (items 1 and 4).
Removal.
To remove the handle unit, follow these steps: (See Figure 4-4 on
page 4-11.)
1. Remove the two screws securing the handle base bracket to the cosmetic
cover.
2. Grasp the bracket and handle away from the cosmetic cover.
Installation.
To install, reverse this procedure.
Snaps You need a screwdriver with a T-15 Torx tip (items 1 and 2).
Removal.
To remove the snaps, follow these steps: (See Figure 4-4 on page 4-11.)
1. Remove the four screws securing the snaps to the cosmetic cover.
2. Lift the snaps away from the cosmetic cover.
Installation.
To install, reverse this procedure.
