Instrument Options—455/A2/B2

VOLTAGE  CONDITIONS

•

Voltages  shown  on  this  schematic  diagram  were  measured  w ith  a  Tektronix  DM  501  Digital  M ultimeter.  Voltage  measurements  can  vary  as

 

|nuch  as  ±20%.

The  B2  A   CO U PLIN G   switch  was  set  in  the  F IE L D   position.

WAVEFORM  CONDITIONS

Waveforms  below  were  taken  from  a  Tektronix  7000-series  oscilloscope  equipped  w ith  readout,  7B  series  time-base,  7A 1 3   Differential

 

Comparator  and  a  10X  probe.  The  offset  voltages  were  read  directly  from  the  7 A 1 3   in  the  dc  coupled  mode.  If  a  different  test  oscillo­
scope  system  is  used,  the  ac  coupled  mode  may  have  to  be  used  due  to  high  dc  offset  voltages.  This  can  cause  some  waveforms  to   appear

 

slightly  different.  Waveforms  may  vary  as  much  as  ±20%.

The  4 5 5   was  powered  from  a  2 4   V   dc  source.  The  IN T E N S IT Y   control  was  set  fo r  normal  trace  brightness  or  about  midrange.

The  test  oscilloscope  was  externally  triggered  using  the  waveform  at  the  collector  of  Q 662.
