1. Double-tap the Trigger badge on the Settings bar.
2. Set the Trigger Type to Video.

Field or control
Description
Trigger Type
Set to Video.
Source
Lists the source channel or waveform to use to trigger.
Format
Set the video format from the drop-down list.
Trigger On
Set to trigger on lines or fields from the drop-down list.
Line Number
Set the line number to trigger on. This control is only available when Trigger On is set to Line Number.
Polarity
Sets the video polarity. (Normal or Inverted).
Scan Method
Set the scan method to Progressive or Interlaced.
Line Period
Set the line period when the format is set to Bilevel Custom or Trilevel Custom.
Sync Interval
Set the sync interval when the format is set to Bilevel Custom or Trilevel Custom.
Mode & Holdoff
Trigger Mode determines how the instrument behaves in the absence or presence of a trigger event.
Holdoff sets the amount of time the oscilloscope waits after a trigger event before detecting and
triggering on the next trigger event.
