years should not use this appliance unless continuous
supervision by a responsible adult is given. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children less than 8 years.
• Accessible surface temperatures can be high
when the appliance is operating.
• Make sure that the electric power supply is com-
patible with the power rating and voltage indicated
on the bottom of the appliance.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.
• If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or
a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water. Do not
immerse the appliance and power cord in water.
• Remove all packaging materials, stickers and acces-
sories from the inside and the outside of the
appliance.
• Unwind the cord completely and plug in the appliance.
• If it is necessary to use an extension lead ensure
that it is of suitable construction and power rating,
with an earth connection.
• Always plug the appliance into an earthed socket.
