(between 16°C and 32°C). The display on the TP020 airconditioner shows this
setting. The measured room temperature will be displayed after
approximately 5 seconds.
DEHUMIDIFICATION
If the machine is used exclusively as a dehumidifier, do not attach the air exhaust
hose
N
, but allow the hot air to flow back into the room to be dehumidified. In
that case you must connect a water hose (not supplied) to the drain
N
(refer to
chapter H). It is not possible to use the
button ‘ventilator speed’ when the
machine is in the dehumidification mode. In this mode the ventilator speed is set.
It is not possible to set the temperature when the machine is in the
dehumidification mode.
AIR CIRCULATION
In this mode the machine only circulates the air. The inflowing air is not cooled or
dehumidified, but it is filtered.
When the machine is operating in this mode you can take the following actions:
•
Use the
button to set the desired ventilator speed. Pressing the
button
changes the ventilator speed between high, medium and low.
Pressing the
button on an active machine switches the airconditioner off.
E
TIMER FUNCTION
If desired, you can use the timer function. This function enables you to switch the
machine on or off at pre-set times. The timer can only be switched on with the aid
of the remote control. Take the following action:
SWITCHING ON
Ensure that the machine is set to the correct mode: cooling, dehumidification
or circulation. The mode can be identified with the colour of the
light on
the control panel on the front of the airconditioner (refer to chapter D)

COMMENTS
In order to increase the life span of the compressor it is adjusted in such
a way that it only begins to operate (again) three minutes after the
machine is switched on.
The cooling system is switched off as soon as the ambient temperature
drops below the set value. The ventilator continues to operate at the set
speed. Cooling is restarted when the ambient temperature rises above
the set value again.
G
Whether the desired temperature can actually be achieved depends on
the ambient conditions: It is normal for the room temperature to remain
above the “set temp”.
