Per ridurre ulteriormente le possibilità di abrasione sul cavo scaldante per porte, possono essere utilizzati
canaline e scanalature in metallo o plastica in telai di porte in legno. Il rivestimento con nastro in alluminio
aumenta la resistenza all’abrasione e riflettere il calore all’esterno verso la superficie che richiede il
riscaldamento. Si raccomanda di applicare il sigillante in silice per evitare vuoti d’aria all’interno delle canaline/
