The tests
Air Force PRT test
You need to wear the chest band to perform the Air Force PRT test.
The test includes a 2 minute warm up at 50 watt; then the load increases to raise the user’s
heart rate above 125 beats per minute.
The load increase varies according to the user’s age, gender and level of fitness:
Press the number key 1 to confirm; press the number key 2 if on the other hand you don’t do
cardiovascular workouts at least 3 times per week.
The aim of the test is to maintain the heart rate above 125 beats per minute for 6 minutes at
constant power.
Every 2 minutes, if the heart rate has not reached the value necessary for the test, the power is
increased; the 6 minutes required to calculate the results start from the last load increase.

The test must be performed between 50 and 80 rpm; the test is cancelled, if a speed less than
50 rpm or greater than 80 rpm is detected for more than 10 consecutive seconds.
