INTRODUCTION
4.1.1 Transceiver Model TiL-90-6R/8.33, P/N 861605-2 with Option 8.33
The Transceiver is a frequency synthesized VHF/AM transceiver operating over the entire band of
117.975 to 138.000 MHz in 8.33 kHz or 25 kHz steps. The transceiver can be preprogrammed with
six user selected frequency channels. Option 2 of Model Til-90-6R /8.33, has a 9-pin connector on the
side of its chassis for remote access to Tx/Rx signals.
This section includes a functional description of each switch, control, indicator and connector located
on the front and rear panels of the portable transceiver, including the PRESS-TO-TALK switch located
on the microphone. Operating instructions for transmit/receive functions are
also included.
4.1.2 Technical Summary
A summary of electrical, operational, mechanical and physical characteristics of the transceiver, is
provided in Table 4-1.

OPERATOR’S SWITCHES, CONTROLS AND INDICATORS
A view of the front and rear panels pf the Low Lost Base Station is given in Figure 4-1 and Figure 4-2.
A functional description of each of the operator’s switches, controls and indicators, and the
microphone TRES-TO-TALK switch, is given in Table 4-2, Operator’s Switches, Controls and indicators.
