3 Power Up

Connect the mains adaptor to a mains socket.

The unit will now be powered and in standby.

Power on by pressing the red standby key on the remote control or the

standby button on the front of the freesat receiver (identifi ed by a red sur-

round).

The power button surround will now illuminate green to indicate that it is
operational.

4 Initial installation

When powering on the HDFV for the fi rst time an automatic installation process will

start.
