4.3.2 Connecting to a power supply
>
Connect the supplied power supply cable to the socket labelled
DC-IN
(
5
) on the side of the DIGITRADIO CD 2GO. Then connect
the USB plug to a commercially available USB socket or USB
power supply (not supplied).
When you connect the device to the mains for the first time,
"
Welcome to Digital Radio
" appears on the display. This will then
be followed by an initial station scan via DAB+.
4.3.3 Using the earphones
Hearing impairment!
Do not listen to the radio at a high volume with headphones. Doing so
can cause permanent hearing impairment. Turn down the radio volume
to the lowest volume before using headphones.
Only use headphones with a 3.5 mm jack plug.
>
Insert the earphone plug into the
headphone jack
(
10
) on the
device.
The maximum volume is restricted as standard. If you want to
increase this limit, hold down the
PRESET/EQ
button (
7
) in CD
mode, or go to
MENU
(DAB mode). The setting is saved until you
turn the device off/on again.
>
Set the volume you want using the volume knob (
4
).
