Converting Video Files

NOTE: Only files that are supported by your installed

version of Windows Media Player can be converted. If

you cannot play the file in WMP you will not be able

to convert it. Some files may need special codecs to

be viewed in WMP and converted to the AMV format

for use with your player

The Help file in the Convert tool contains a full list of

file types suitable for conversion.

• Insert the software CD into the CD Rom drive.
•

In “My Computer”, navigate to the CD Drive.

•

Double cick the CD icon.

•

Click the Video Converter button on the splash

screen.

•

Follow the screen prompts to complete the

installation of the conversion tool.

•

Go to

Start > Programs > MP3 Player Utilities

•

Double Click the

AMV Convert Tool

icon to

launch the program.
