AFTER USING YOUR RADIO

All care and cleaning operations should be carried out with 
the unit unplugged from the mains power.
Occasionally wipe the cabinet with a lint free duster. Never 
clean the unit with liquids or solvents.

you  when  you  call.  This  warranty  in  no  way  affects  your

SYSTEM RESET

DAB is a terrestrial system and frequencies in different areas 
vary. If you move the radio to another part of the country 
performing  a  scan  may  not  be  enough  to  re  program  the 
radio so you may need to reset the radio.

To restore factory settings:

Press and hold the

 button.

‘AUTOSCAN’ will flash on the display.

Press the

TUN+

 or 

TUN-

 button repeatedly until ‘

FACTORY

’ 

appears on the display.
Press the 

• 

SELECT/NAV

 button.

‘RESET’ will flash on the display.

Press the 

• 

SELECT/NAV

 button to confirm reset.

After reset all settings are returned to the factory defaults and 
any stored presets are erased.

No power

Check  that  the  AC  adaptor  is  connected  correctly  and 

• 

mains power is switched on.

Poor reception

Check the signal strength (page 6). If the signal strength 

• 

is  low,  try  adjusting  the  position  of  the  aerial.  If  this 
doesn’t  help,  move  the  radio  to  a  position  where  the 
signal strength is better.

Alarm not sounding

Check that the alarm(s) have been set correctly.

• 

If you have set DAB or FM presets to wake you, check that 

• 

the alarm volume is set loiud enough.

DAB reception problems after moving area

The  station  list  will  need  updating.  Try  scanning  the 

• 

band. If there are still problems with all or part of the 
station list, reset the radio.

SOFTWARE VERSION

You can display the version of software in your radio. This 
may be used by a service engineer if there is a problem with 
your radio.

To display the software version:
