Inject
If you want to get access to a DUT on the 100BASE-T1 port by a device on the logging
port, a few preconditions are necessary:
Only one device can inject on one GB Port
For the Inject, the DUT on the 100BASE-T1 port has to be connected directly on
the 100BASE-T1 port, no switches in between.
Traffic can be injected only to one DUT per 100BASE-T1 port.
The communication between device and DUT must be an IP-based protocol
The following example shows how to configure the CaptureModule for inject:
The test setup of the example is shown in the
The PC has the IP 160.48.199.125.
The DUT_2 has the IP 160.48.199.55.
We want to establish a TCP connection
between PC an DUT_2.
The Communication between all devices has
innerVLAN-tag.
The GB-A-Port is configured as follows:
The important point here is the field
IP for
Injection
. Here must be the IP-Address of the
injecting device.
Also
Working as DLT-port
must be activated.
