Audio Setup
Make your selection using the
Up
and
Down Arrow
buttons and press
Play
.
Speaker Setup
This menu gives you the option of sending either the left
and right stereo channels as a single audio output (LT/RT)
or the normal stereo output.
LT/RT is the default setting.
• If you are connecting your DVD player to a Dolby Pro
Logic decoder via the coaxial output, select the LT/RT
option.
• If connecting to a basic stereo audio system select the
Stereo option.
SPDIF Setup
This function allows you to set up the digital output
for when the DVD player is connected to a digital input
decoder/receiver/amplifi er.
SPDIF Output
The formats available in this player are:
• Off - No output is sent to the coaxial output. Use this
option if you have not connected the coaxial output to
any decoder or amplifi er.
• RAW - When selected, the raw audio contained on the
disc is passed directly to the Coaxial output. Use this
setting when connecting the coaxial output to a multi-
channel decoder/amplifi er.
• PCM - When selected, the audio contained on the disc
is passed directly to the Coaxial output in PCM format.
This format ensures a very high quality but it does not
support the surround sound effect. Use this setting
when connecting the coaxial output to a receiver-
amplifi er not capable of decoding multi-channel audio.
This is the default setting.
LPCM Output
This option is only available when PCM is selected. The
default is 48k.
