Connecting to an external amplifier
This feature enables you to play turntable music through amplifier or
external speakers. You will need an RCA cable to make this connection
(not included).
Plug one end of the Red and White RCA jacks into the LINE OUT
ports(11/12) at the back of the TX-188 and the other end into R (red) and L
(white) sockets at the back of the amplifier or external speakers.
Recording audio via PC / Laptop
This equipment has the capacity to encode your vinyl music into digital
format for record options with PC / MAC or Laptop.
Hint:
External software is required.
Insert the USB-cable into the USB-B slot (13) and connect to PC.
Get your music media ready for playback: place a record on the turntable
and start playing.
The LP player will be recognized as audio input device on you PC.
Start the external record pc software to record the vinyl from the LP
player. (E. g. “
Audacity
”, free ware)
Press the REC / STOP button to start / stop recording at the pc software.
Export the record in your prefered file format.

The record steps are different in each record software. Please see
how to record from external devices according your used software.
