Infrared Transmitters
The infrared transmitter is the component that is fed a vocal signal through a
microphone and it transmits that vocal signal via an infrared light beam to the
receiving sensor. The transmitter is comprised of a microphone input, signal
processor and 10 transmitting diodes for signal transmission to the sensor. There
are three styles of transmitters: Handheld, Pendant and Body-Pack.
Handheld Microphone / Transmitter (IRH-30)
is most applicable for student
use or direct presentation. The 10 emitting diodes are located around the bottom
of the microphone for 360
spherical transmission.
