Avoid getting any liquid into the narrow central cylinder within the cartomizer as this space
allows for airflow (see final step if you suspect liquid has entered the central cylinder).
Replace the cap.
Blow through the cartomizer from the mouthpiece end to ensure no liquid remains in the
central air-flow cylinder.
Troubleshooting and FAQ
My iClear produces no vapour –
ensure full and proper connectivity between the battery and the
cartomizer. Detach the same if necessary and clean all visible threading with dry tissue. Ensure the
battery is fully charged (if blinking, initiate a recharge). Try one or more new cartomizers to confirm if
the issue is with the battery or try another battery.
TIP – iClear cartomizers use a standard 510-Type connection – if in doubt, attempt to use the cartomizer
on another battery with a matching connection to determine possible failure of the cartomizer.
Cartomizers have a typical average lifespan of around one week.
My iClear is leaking
- ensure you maintain long but slow draws. Harsh draws may cause liquid to
become trapped in the air-flow chamber within the cartomizer which can end up being drawn back up
the cartomizer into the mouth. Ensure when filling the cartomizer that no liquid is allowed to enter the
central cylinder – to ensure this, prior to connecting the cartomizer to the battery, blow through it from
the mouthpiece end onto tissue.
My batteries will not charge –
check the charger when connected to the power source without a
battery connected – in normal circumstances the LED should appear blue. If there is no light at all,
attempt to use another USB port or connect directly to the mains with a wall adaptor. If the problem
persists, the charger may require replacing.
If the charger illuminates as normal but upon connection of the battery remains the same blue colour –
disconnect the battery and clean the magnetic end and blow into the charging unit and reconnect.
Should the light continue to stay blue on the charger, the battery may be refusing to accept a charge
which may indicate that it has reached the end of its natural cell life and would require replacing.
TIP – iClear batteries measure 180mAh in capacity and have a typical lifespan based on at least one
charge daily of around 4-8 weeks. Batteries are covered for a 28-day period under warranty from the
date of receipt. Chargers have a 12-month electrical warranty.
My iClear continues to activate after ceasing to inhale
- if the device continues to activate (indicated by
a continued blue light on the end of the battery after) without using it, this may suggest that liquid has
entered the connecting threads of the battery affecting the workings of the air-flow sensor . Attempt to
clean the battery threads with dry tissue. Avoid harsh inhalations to avoid leaking in the first instance
and correctly follow the cartomizer refilling guide – should the problem appear irreparable and the
battery is still under warranty, contact customer services.
