Preparations and Checks before Starting a Run
6.2.2 Switching On
Note: The software protection module (dongle) must be connected to the USB
port of the PC.
Note: The Freedom EVO instrument must be switched on before starting the
application software.
Proceed as follows:
1 Press the on/off switch to switch the instrument on.
2 Start EVOware.
3 Open the required script or process.
4 Continue with chapter 6.3 “Preparations and Checks before Starting a Run”,


Possible damage to the system, if preparations and checks not have been
performed.

Do not start the run yet: First carry out the tasks as set out in chapter
6.3 “Preparations and Checks before Starting a Run”,

6.3.1 Preparing the System
Note: The Te-Stack is always used together with other instruments. Refer to the
corresponding manuals as well.
ATTENTION
DiTi boxes can only be used if barcode scanner is mounted in the upper position.
Proceed as follows:
1 Make sure that the system is initialized correctly.
2 Check for error messages.
3 Continue with chapter 6.4 “Starting the Run”,

