3.3 Instructions for installing FMT 3 on HORNET 40
•
Before installation, check all components
to ensure that all packaging materials have
been completely removed.
•
Place O-ring (3) onto first groove of hose
connector (4) of pump and lubricate.
•
Slightly screw stud screw M4x8 (5) into
pump adapter (6) with only a few turns (do
not screw in all the way).
•
Place pump adapter (6) on the hose
connector of pump and screw in stud
screws (5) further such that the pump
adapter is guided in the groove. But do not
screw tightly yet.
•
Screw meter onto pump adapter (6) (hold
the pump adapter in place and turn the
meter). You do not have to pay attention
to the direction of flow, as the FMT 3 can
be used with both flow directions.
•
Once you have screwed in the meter all the way, you can align the meter together with the
pump adapter and fasten the stud screws (5).
•
Push sealing ring (1) all the way into the screw thread of the hose connector (2).
•
Insert the hose connector (2) into the dispensation hose and secure in place with a hose clip,
then screw it onto the outgoing G1" screw thread (7) of the meter and tighten.
•
After assembly, check all connections for leaks.
