Operation

Handling the ladder

-

Always start with the bottom rung when pulling out
the rungs.

-

Release the belt and pull out the first rung. Ensure
when doing this that the locking mechanism is
engaged on both sides.

-

Repeat the procedure until the desired height is
reached.

-

Once the height is reached, check again that all locking
mechanisms are engaged.

-

Erect the telescopic ladder and ensure that the leaning
angle is 65°-75°, correct as necessary.

-

The ground must be

even

 and not slippery.

-

The surface onto which the ladder is leant must be
even, dry and dust-free.

-

The surface onto which the ladder is leant must be able
to withstand the pressure of leaning and building up
the vacuum of the ladder without any doubt.

-

The telescopic ladder is ready to be climbed.

Handling the telescopic ladder with
Leitertec-System©

To mount the Leitertec-System© on the telescopic ladder, both
end caps must be removed from the ladder stiles. This may
prove difficult at first. Use a suitable tool if necessary to make
this easier.
