Stop n’Wash provides hands free hot water hand wash
without the need for external plumbing or drainage.
It’s entirely self-contained with both the fresh and the
wastewater contained in the twin bag TEALtainer II™.
Each heavy-duty polyethylene bag holds 10 litres of water.
When the fresh water is used up, the waste bag is full. The
TEAL Stop n’Wash provides up to 40 complete wash cycles
per filling of the Twin Bag TEALtainer II™.
Please note: The TEAL Stop n’Wash is fully automatic
in operation. There is nothing to adjust. Both the water
temperature of approximately 40°C and the wash programme
are factory set.
Unpacking
Check for any damage and retain the packaging.
Notify TEAL immediately if any damage is discovered.
Set up
• Fit your own liquid soap dispenser

and put soap in
• Fit your own paper towel dispenser

and fill up with towel and put 7 steps handwashing
sticker on the towel dispenser

• Disconnect the Twin Bag TEALtainer II™

from the fresh
water pick up pipe

and remove from unit.
• Unscrew the white cap

and fill the fresh water bag
from the cold tap to just below the filler cap.
• Refit the white cap

• Return the Twin Bag TEALtainer II™ to left hand side
of tray into the TEAL Stop n’Wash and place on the
removable tray

Reconnect the fresh water delivery

and make sure that the waste pipe

inserted into the red waste cap hole.
• Fit the 13-amp plug into a suitable 230v mains socket
outlet and switch the unit on by means of the ON/OFF
switch

located on the rear of the unit.
• The unit will automatically operate a 10 second cold-
water purge and on the completion of the purge cycle
the Greensensor ready light will come on

How to set up your TEAL Stop n’Wash
DAILY cleaning instructions
Before any maintenance, turn off with the switch at rear of
unit

, disconnect your TEAL Stop n’Wash from the power
supply by removing the 13-amp plug from the socket.
Disconnect the TEALtainer™ in use

and empty both
TEALtainers™

completely – dispose of contents to a foul
water drain or sluice.
Flush out both wastewater compartments (Red Cap)

and
replenish both fresh water compartments (White Cap)

with cold water.
Replace both TEALtainers™ in the base of the TEAL Stop
n’Wash and reconnect the one on the left hand side.
Replace plug; switch on at back panel

water purge runs automatically.
The TEAL Stop n’Wash is now ready for use.
Cleaning and maintenance DAILY
DAILY disinfection using the following simple routine
Remove both TEALtainers™

and empty completely.
Refill the fresh water compartments and add suitable
chlorine disinfection tablet to each and create a solution
of 500ppm.
Reconnect the TEALtainer™ and use the Blue Purge Button
(11) to run the decontamination programme.
This will run automatically for 5 min. Ensure that both
TEALtainers™

are decontaminated in your maintenance
programme.
Empty the TEALtainers™ and rinse thoroughly with fresh
water. Refill fresh water compartments, reconnect left
TEALtainer™ and your TEAL Stop n’Wash is ready for use.
The TEAL Stop n’Wash is now ready for use.
1. The left side TEALtainer™ is in use and the right
TEALtainer™ is the spare water container.
2. When the left side TEALtainer™ ‘s fresh water is empty
and the waste water full, replace immediately with right
side TEALtainer that contains fresh water to ensure the
TEAL Stop n’Wash operates without disruption.
3. Empty the TEALtainer waste water into the main drain
or sluice and refill with fresh water in white cap and
put back into unit on the right side, ready to replace
immediately when the left hand TEALtainer™ is full.
Each TEALtainer™ contains up to 40 hot washes per filling.
