To place a CD into the unit, open the CD DOOR and fit the CD securely into position.
To remove the CD from the unit, press the STOP BUTTON, open the CD DOOR and take out the CD.

To turn off the CD playing function, set the FUNCTION SWITCH to OFF position.

DBS ON/OFF SWITCH

When the DBS ON/OFF switch is set to the ON position, the dynamic low frequency ranges are boosted.

CD PROGRAM PLAYBACK

Programmed playback enables tracks on a disc to be played in the desired order. Up to 20 tracks can be
programmed into a playlist.
1.

Press the PROGRAM BUTTON once, the PROGRAM INDICATOR and " 0 " will flash in the CD
TRACK DISPLAY.

2.

Press the "BACK SKIP / SEARCH BACKWARD" and / or "NEXT SKIP / SEARCH FORWARD"
BUTTONS to select the desired track number.

3.

Press the PROGRAM BUTTON again to memorise the track into the playlist.

4.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all desired tracks are programmed.

5.

Press the PLAY / PAUSE BUTTON to start playing. PROGRAM INDICATOR will light up.

6.

Press the STOP BUTTON to stop programmed playback.

NOTE : Programming can only be made when the CD playing is in stop mode.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Caring for Compact Discs
*

Treat the disc carefully. Handle the disc only by its edges. Never allow your
fingers to come in contact with unprinted side of the disc.

*

Do not attach adhesive tape, stickers, etc. to the disc.

*

Clean the disc periodically with a soft, lint-free, dry cloth. Never use detergents
or abrasive cleaners to clean the disc. If necessary, use a CD cleaning kit.

*

If a disc skips or gets stuck on a section of the disc, it is probably dirty or
damaged (scratched).

*

When cleaning the disc, wipe in straight lines from the center of the disc to the outer edge of the disc.
Never wipe in circular motions.

*

This unit is designed to play only Compact Discs bearing the identification logo as shown here.
Other discs may not conform to the CD standard and may not play properly.

*

Compact Discs should be stored in their cases after each use to avoid damage.

*

Do not expose Compact Discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, high temperatures,
or dust, etc. Prolonged exposure or extreme temperatures can warp the disc.

REPEAT BUTTON

Press once for single track repeat playing and the REPEAT INDICATOR will be flashing.

Press twice for all tracks repeat playing and the REPEAT INDICATOR will light up.

To cancel the repeat play mode, press the REPEAT BUTTON once or twice until the REPEAT
INDICATOR turn off.

RANDOM BUTTON

When playing the CD, press the RANDOM button once to enter random playing mode. All the songs will be
played in a random sequence Press the RANDOM button once more to return to normal playing mode.
RANDOM mode can not function under programmed playing mode.
