Care and maintenance
Maintenance:
The casing can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. A mild soap-based cleaning product
may be used if necessary, never use strong cleaning products or chemical solutions.
Warning!
Remove the plug from the mains supply before cleaning.
Cleaning the cassette recorder head:
Do not store cassettes in the cassette compartment for long periods as the ribbon may
be damaged. The ribbon mechanism should be cleaned at regular intervals in order
to guarantee high performance. Moisten a cotton bud with cleaning fluid for cassette
recorder heads or use isopropyl Alcohol and clean the capstan and head by carefully
dabbing them. Press PLAY to engage the mechanism, making it easier to clean.
