Preparing for Internet connectivity
If you want to connect your TV to the Internet to watch streaming content, you can choose either a
wireless or a wired connection.
•
Wireless connection
– To use a wireless connection, make sure you know the name (SSID) and
password you use to connect to your wireless modem/router or wireless access point.
•
Wired connection
– To use a wired connection, plug your Ethernet cable into the RJ-45 jack on
the back of the TV. The wired connection supports both 10 and 100 Base-T Ethernet
For wireless operation, the TV connects through a built-in wireless LAN adapter. The TV does not
support the use of a USB network adapter.
Note
: We recommend that your wireless connection support the IEEE 802.11ac specification
for the best experience.
AC power
Plug your TV into a power outlet. You can tell that the TV has power because the status light on the
front of the TV lights up.
