Rasp
:

form of hard breathiness.
Resonance
:
a Voice model that analyzes vocal formant har-
monics and changes their position in the audio
spectrum, resulting in a sound with a different
overall character that can be subtle or extreme.
S/PDIF
:
(Sony/Phillips Digital Interface) is a digital audio
format generally recognized as the consumer
standard for digital audio transfer.
Spectra
:
A matrix of frequency boost/cut settings, such as
those in a graphic equalizer. Rather than singling
out individual frequencies, a spectra setting cov-
ers a range of frequencies.
Voice Modeling
: (abbreviated as VM) a scientific means of elec-
tronically simulating a natural vocal phenome-
non.
