CHECK OIL LEVEL
Refer to Oil Type and Capacities on this page
Taylor-Dunn does not recommend the use of oil additives.
Before checking engine oil level: Turn engine off and wait
a couple of minutes to allow oil to return to the crankcase.
The oil level should be between the F and L marks on
the dipstick (see illustration).
Only add oil if level is BELOW the L mark on the dipstick.
Only use oil displaying the appropriate American
Petroleum Institute (API) Symbol on the container.
CHANGE OIL
Refer to Oil Type and Capacities on this page
1: Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2: The engine should be warm.
3: Place an oil drain pan underneath the drain
extension at the rear of the engine.
4: Remove the drain plug and allow the oil to drain.
5:
Replace the oil filter.
Note: Lightly lubricate the O-ring on the filter.
6: Thoroughly clean the drain plug and wrap with
Teflon tape.
7: Install the drain plug.
8:
Clean the area around the fill cap before
removing.
9: Fill the engine with oil to the proper level.
10: Start engine and inspect for leaks.
