1. INTRODUCTION

 -

The following Installation Manual apply ex-

clusively to the model PFL-0335-TG y PFL-

0340-TG modules only.

 -

This Installation Manual contains important

information that you must know before hand-

ling, installing TAURUS RENOVABLES Mo-

dules. Failure to comply with the instructions

may cause unexpected product damage,

product failure, and/or serious bodily injury

or death,

 -

This Manual does not constitute a warranty,

expressed or implied. TAURUS RENOVA-

BLES does not assume responsibility and

expressly disclaims liability for loss, dama-

ge, or expense arising out of or in any way

connected with installation, operation, use or

maintenance of the Modules.

2. SAFETY

 -

Any work on solar modules should follow

general safety standards, local codes and

should always be carried out by an appro-

priately qualified person.

 -

Do not work alone.

 -

Do not perform installation during rain, heavy

wind or snowy day. It may result in bodily in-

jury or death.

 -

Do not touch the electrical active parts of the

module without proper safety devices.,

 -

Do not connect or disconnect the module

when it is exposed to light or connected to

external power sources.

 -

Do not install the module if it is damaged or

broken. Failure to comply may result in elec-

tric shock.

 -

Do not short leads together. In case of they

being shorted, cover the module completely

with opaque material to obscure all light befo-

re attempting to disconnect the cables.

 -

Do not concentrate sunlight (e.g. mirrors or

lenses) or other sources of artificial light on

the modules.

 -

Do not open or repair junction box or cables

connected to it.

 -

3. MECHANICAL INSTALLATION

Site Consideration

 -

TAURUS RENOVABLES modules should be

installed in a proper site where:

 -

Operating Temperature Range: -40 °C to

+90°C.

 -

No shadowing from overhead vegetation or

buildings.

 -

Modules can withstand high wind environ-

ments when securely attached to a substrate

such that the module does not flap with the

wind.

 -

No direct contact with corrosive gases or li-

quids.

 -

Not near flammable or explosive substances.

Module Mounting Methods

 -

Keep the modules in their original packaging

until the moment of their installation.

 -

The module may be handled by the edge, but

only if it is held vertically and without exerting

excessive or multiple bending.

 -

Check each module before starting the ins-

tallation operation. No damaged or broken

modules should be used.

 -

Do not untied the wires that fixed the cables

on the module.

 -

Do not use the junction box or the connection

cable as a handle.

 -

Do not drop heavy or sharp items onto the

modules.

 -

Modules should be handled without excess

bending (Do not bend modules with a radius

of less than 480 mm) or bending at sharp an-

gles or twisting of the panels.

 -

To secure modules, use Heavy Duty Zip Ties

which are made of corrosion resistant mate-

rial and for outdoor use.
