Recording will start after the set time period.
NOTE
• This function cannot be used when recording is paused
in the middle of recording.
• Self-timer function is not possible when using the AUTO
REC function.
Using the AUTO TONE function
The AUTO TONE function can be used to
automatically insert a tone signal whenever
recording starts and stops.
When connecting this unit to a digital SLR camera,
for example, connect the attenuator cable included
in the AK-DR11C accessory kit (sold separately) to
the /LINE OUT jack on the left side of the unit
and the external mic input jack of the camera. If the
auto tone function is used when connected, the
same tone signal will be recorded to the files on
both units. These tones can be used as guides when
synchronizing the files in video editing software.
