Introduction

Thank you for your purchase of the Targus USB 2.0 DVD-ROM Drive. The 
drive features a USB cable which stores under the drive. This DVD drive is 
a plug and play device and requires no driver setup.

Connecting the Drive to Your Computer

1. Remove the USB cord from the bottom of the 

drive.

2. Plug the USB cord into the drive.

3. Connect the other end of the USB cord to  your 

computer.

If using a Netbook or laptop computer, it should be powered OFF before 
connecting the DVD drive.

NOTE: THIS DVD DRIVE REQUIRES CONSTANT POWER FROM YOUR NETBOOK OR LAPTOP 

COMPUTER.  IF THE NETBOOK OR LAPTOP BATTERIES ARE LOW OR DRAINED, YOU MAY 

NEED TO CHARGE OR PLU G IN THE COMPUTER TO PROVIDE ENOUGH POWER.
