Rotary Tiller TXG, YCT & YCT - R Series
Fluid Capacities - Gearboxes
Side Gearbox:
•
Run the tiller long enough to warm the
lubricant.
•
Level the tiller, shut off tractor and set
the park brake. Remove the
“ Lower
Plug ”. The warmed lubricant should
reach the bottom of the “ Lower Plug ”
hole as shown.
•
If the lubricant level is below the
bottom of the
“ Lower Plug ” hole, add
fluid through the “ Fill Plug ” hole or
“ Lower Plug ” hole. Add fluid to bring
the level to the normal operating range.
•
Replace and tighten all plugs before
operating the tiller.
Note: Check after 16 hours of use.
Center Gear Box:
•
Unscrew and remove the dipstick and wipe clean.
•
Screw in dipstick and hand tighten only.
•
Once again, remove the dipstick and check the fluid level.
If the fluid level is on or below the low level mark, add
enough fluid to the gearbox to bring the fluid level up to
normal operating range between the low mark and high
mark.
•
Screw in dipstick before operating the tiller.
•
Do not overfill.
Note: Check after 16 hours of use.
