c) Charging a mobile device
• You can charge the portable charger and your mobile devices at the same time.
It is not recommended to charge the portable charger and connected mobile devices
at the same time as the battery of the portable charger will be constantly discharging
in this case. Accordingly, it takes longer to charge the internal battery of the portable
charger.
• Thanks to the integrated circuit (Smart IC), the portable charger recognises the required
maximum charging current of the connected product at the USB-A output OUT1/Smart (1).
• Plug the USB-A connector of a USB charging cable (not included) into the USB-A output
OUT1/Smart. Plug the connector (such as a Micro USB connector) on the other side of the
charging cable into your mobile device.
• If your mobile device has a USB Type-C™ port, you can use the USB Type-C™ connector
(not included) to plug a charging cable into your mobile device and the USB Type-C™ input/
output IN/OUT. Products with a USB Type-C™ port normally provide a higher charging
current and can therefore be charged faster than those with a Micro USB port.
The maximum charging current (3.3 A) is distributed to the USB outputs when both
outputs are used. Therefore, take note of the amount of charging current required by
your mobile device.
• While charging, the battery level of the portable charger will be indicated by the corresponding
steadily lit LED.
• Disconnect the USB charging cable from the connected product and the portable charger
to stop or interrupt charging. As soon as charging of the connected mobile device has been
completed or the USB charging cable has been disconnected, the battery level indicator will
go off.
Care and cleaning
• Disconnect the product from connected products and from the power supply before every
cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
• When cleaning, be sure to avoid contact with water or other liquids.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
