Procedure
F

Read
a
ll
the
instructions
before
starting.
1.
Locate
a
suitab
l
e
mounting
position
for
the
l
oudspeaker,
using
a
stud-fi
nder.
WARN
I
NG:
Make
sure
that
there
are
no
power
l
ines,
other
cab
l
es,
or
p
l
umbing
such
as
water,
sewer,
gas
l
ines
in
the
chosen
cutout
l
ocation.
A
l
so
make
sure
that
the
l
ocation
is
far
enough
from
the
wa
ll
studs
so
that
a
ll
the
c
l
amping
mechanisms
can
operate
without
interference.
2.
Use
the
supp
l
ied
cutout
temp
l
ates
(
F
ig.
1)
in
the
desired
l
ocation
and
carefu
ll
y
cut
out
a
ho
l
e
in
the
drywa
ll
using
a
suitab
l
e
handtoo
l
.
Remove
any
dust
and
debris
from
the
ho
l
e
(
F
ig.
2).

Run
speaker
wire
to
this
l
ocation
(

ig.

Leave
enough
s
l
ack
to
make
the
connections
when
that
time
comes.
T
ie
down
the
speaker
cab
l
e
to
prevent
it
moving
and
ratt

ing
in
operation.
Make
sure
that
the
speaker
cab
l
e
does
not
come
into
contact
with
nai
l
s
or
screws
that
might
damage
the
e
l
ectrica
l
insu
l
ation.
Installing the Frame into the Wall
With
the
drywa
ll
aperture
cut,
and
the
speaker
wiring
run
to
this
l
ocation,
as
shown
in
the
previous
pages,
the
l
oudspeaker
frame
can
now
be
insta
ll
ed.

moving
the

mounting
posts
and
rotating
them
to
the
side.

Wiring the Frame
WARN
I
NG:
T
o
avoid
potentia
l

your

oudspeaker,
ensure
that
the
amp

ifier
is
switched
O
FF
prior
to
connecting
or
disconnecting
any
cab

es.

Before
switching
the
amp

ifier
ON,

check

a

connections
are
secure
and
that
the
po

arity
is
correct.
(Note
that
the
speaker
wire
connections
are
made
to
the
screw
termina
l

of
the
frame.)
We
recommend
the
use
of
insu
l
ated
speaker
wiring
of
between
12
and
18
AWG.
