6)
The vertical height adjustment is suitable for trees 1-3 m height.
7)
While drilling trees below 120 cm in length or trees of very small trunk diameters,
make sure that the trunk is placed exactly in the middle of the drill chuck;
otherwise, the drilled hole will not be stable enough.
8)
In the case the trunk is very hard or frozen, the drill must be replaced frequently.
Multiple approaches can facilitate the process of drilling.
9)
After the drilling process, make sure that the pedal has completely returned to the
zero position (pedal up). Alternatively, by using the foot lever, pull the pedal
upwards. Now the drill is in its position, and the tree can be taken up by the
machine.
Failing to do so may result in damage to the drill.
10)
From time to time, check the drilling result on a tree stand model.
11)
If the tree is not straight, it is possible to re-tap it. In this case, shorten the trunk
by about 6 cm.
12)
In the event of power failure, the switch will automatically go to the zero position.
Then, a re-start is required.
Replacing a drill
If the drilling process does not proceed smoothly, replace the drill, and perform the
following steps:
1) Turn off the machine and unplug it from the mains.
2) Press the pedal to have the drill come upwards.
3) With an Allen key loosen the screws of the drill chuck.
4) Remove the drill bit and replace with a new one.
5) Use only original Easyfix drills, diameter = 16 mm and length = 120 mm. Tighten
up the screws.
6) The drill blade can be re-sharpened, like metal bits.
