2.4 Adjust the media sensors
2.4.1 Two types of media sensors
The printer makes use of the media sensors to register the media to a precise position relative to
the print head. You should activate the correct sensor for your media in use:
1. Gap sensor: for labels or tickets & tags - with a gap or notch separating consecutive media.
2. Black mark sensor: for receipts/tickets - with pre-printed black stripes on the back.

Only one media sensor can be active at anytime. According to the media in use, activate the
appropriate sensor under the System Setup menu from the Control Panel or the Config Tool.
