Fitting Instructions
Putting on and taking off the HeadUp Collar will be easier with an
assistant; please ask them to read the instructions for use in full first.
Applying the HeadUp Collar
•
Step 1 – Align the chin profile of the HeadUp Collar facing
forwards as shown. Cup the user’s chin with the chin profile and
apply a gentle rearwards pull to the HeadUp Collar.

Step 2 – Draw the two edges of the HeadUp Collar to overlap at
the back of the neck.

Step 3 – Secure the HeadUp Collar at the back of the
neck/head using the hook and loop fastener, working from the
centre downwards.

Step 4 – Some fine adjustment may be required. Ensure that
the HeadUp Collar is sufficiently snug to provide support, whilst
remaining comfortable for the wearer.
Do not leave the wearer of the HeadUp Collar after application
without ensuring correct fitment and user comfort.
If while wearing the HeadUp Collar any of the following issues are
experienced: Discomfort / skin irritation / light-headedness – the
HeadUp Collar must be removed.
