2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE USING YOUR
TAKATA I-SIZE BASE (PLUS)
CAUTION!
The TAKATA I-SIZE BASE (PLUS) in conjunction
with the TAKATA MINI I-SIZE seat or the TAKATA
MIDI I-SIZE (PLUS) seat is an “i-Size” Child
Restraint System. It is approved to Regulation
No.129, for use in “i-Size compatible” vehicle
seating
positions as indicated by vehicle
manufacturers in the vehicle users’ manual.
If in doubt, consult either the child restraint
manufacturer or the retailer.
CAUTION!
The TAKATA MINI I-SIZE seat can only be
used backward facing. This applies for use with a
three-point seatbelt as well as for the securing via
the TAKATA I-SIZE BASE (PLUS).
CAUTION!
The following applies for securing the TAKATA
MIDI I-SIZE (PLUS) seat via the TAKATA
I-SIZE BASE (PLUS):

CAUTION!
The TAKATA I-SIZE BASE (PLUS) has only been
tested and approved to the ECE-R129 European
standard for child restraint systems, when used in
conjunction with the TAKATA MINI I-SIZE or
TAKATA MIDI I-SIZE (PLUS).
NOTE!
Securing the TAKATA MINI I-SIZE or TAKATA
MIDI I-SIZE (PLUS) via the TAKATA I-SIZE BASE
(PLUS) and the vehicle’s ISOFIX points is also
permitted on vehicle seats approved as ISOFIX
positions in the vehicle.
This is only suitable for certain seats in certain
vehicles. The vehicle list supplied provides an
overview of all suitable vehicles and seats at the time
of going to print. For an updated list of the TAKATA
MINI I-SIZE or the TAKATA MIDI I-SIZE (PLUS)
