Software installation and necessary 

1. 

Installation of software

(In case of floppy disk)

Install the software from the floppy disk to the machine.

The software (the latest software at the shipment of the machine) is 
installed to the machine. When upgrading of the software accompanied 
with improvement after the shipment is necessary, install the software 
according to the following procedure.

1. 

To call the screen

1. 

Turn OFF the power.

2. 

Insert the floppy disk (DISK 1/6) to the FDD.

3. 

Turn ON the power. The screen for installation as shown right 

will appear (It takes a while).

CAUTION

Before installing the software, write design data that is 

currently stored in the memory to a floppy disk or a 
memory card ( p.7-9, p.7-12). Design data could be 
damaged by unexpected cause. 

To turn on the power again, wait for five seconds or 

more. If not, the software could be damaged.

After installation of software, it is necessary to set 

“Machine Type” (p.11-7) and “Frame Origin Memory” 
(p.11-8).

[Important]

Six pieces of floppy disk (DISK 1/6 to DISK 6/6) for 

installation of software are packed with the machine. 
The latest software at the shipment of the machine is 
stored in these floppy disks.

Regarding the latest version and how to obtain it, please 

ask the distributor for information.

It is also possible to install the software from the mem-

ory card (p.11-4).
