Mechanical Design
Overview
The base station consists of the following main modules:

tray

UI board (user interface)

receiver module

All modules and boards are mounted from above into the 1U tray
b
.
The modules are secured by screws or clips into standoffs on the tray chassis,
and are easily removed for replacement.
The base station also includes two cooling fans

and a fan duct
e
in front
of the receiver and transmitter modules, a speaker
c
mounted behind the
front panel, a fan power board
g
mounted on the fan duct, and a
temperature sensor board
j
mounted on the heatsink of the transmitter
module

.
The modules and components are interconnected by looms and cables.
