The IPx Office is supplied to the field with the front rack-mounting brackets attached
to the unit. These brackets are designed to fit the unit onto a 19” rack. If the unit is to
be mounted onto a 23” rack, perform the following procedure. Otherwise, skip to
Preparing the Rack for Unit Mounting, page 2-16 .
Preparing the Unit for Mounting onto a 23” Rack
1. Remove the existing 19” front rack-mounting brackets from the unit.
2. Align a 23” front rack-mounting bracket such that the three holes are adjacent
with the holes on the unit.
3. Insert three of the M4X8 screws provided into the three holes and fasten the
right bracket to the unit.
4. Repeat Step 1 through Step 3 for the other front rack-mounting bracket.

Installation
Preparing the Rack for Unit Mounting
The IPx Office unit is supported from the rear by two brackets that are attached to the
rack. To install the support brackets (see
Figure 2-8 ):
1. Fasten the left rear rack-mounting bracket to the rack.
2. Fasten the right rear rack-mounting bracket to the rack.
The fasteners that are secured to the rack are not included.
