Setting the Power over Ethernet (PoE) Switch (
T207M, T208M, T208M/BL
)
Before connecting the cables, verify that the Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch is
switched to the correct setting, if applicable (in some models).
If there is a PoE/Adapter selection switch on the phone, do one of the following:
If the telephone set is to be powered via the LAN, turn the switch to
PoE

If the telephone set is to be powered via the AC power adapter, turn the switch

One Internal Switch for PC and Phone
Two RJ-45 connector outlets are located on the bottom of the phone. See
These connectors create an internal bridge for both the IP telephone and the computer.
The phone is connected to the LAN wall connector with the RJ-45 cable provided,
using the LAN connector on the bottom side of the phone. The phone is connected to
the PC with an RJ-45 cable, using the PC connector on the bottom of the phone. See
. The communication protocol for both LAN and PC is 10/100Mbps, half, full
or auto duplex. The recommended setup is 100Mbps, auto duplex.
