General
This power convertor is designed for indoor use only.
The TPC1 is a low profile DC - DC / AC - DC Convertor designed to convert either 24V AC or 18-48V DC to a
reliable, clean output voltage between 11-15Vdc (12V nominal) and is rated for 1.5A continuous output.
Note: Input voltage must not exceed 48V DC - permanent damage may result.
This model features output current limiting and thermal shutdown protection with auto recovery.
Connection
Connect input power to terminals marked “Input” (see diagram overleaf ).
Note that these terminals are not polarity conscious.
Load equipment may be connected to terminals marked “Out”.
Confirm polarity before connecting.
Output voltage is factory set to 12.2Vdc - see note below:
Battery Operation:
If battery operation is required, adjust output voltage to 13.8Vdc (using an insulated
screwdriver and digital multimeter). Battery charge current is limited to < 100mA - this should be taken into
account when calculating output load. If output load (including battery charging) exceeds 1.5A, TPC-1 will
current limit & shut down. Observe polarity of battery when connecting.
Input and output LED’s should be illuminated when operating normally.
There are no fuses or user serviceable components inside the cabinet - return to your supplier or Tactical
Technologies for service or repair.
