DESCRIPTION OF THE SYMBOLS

The use of symbols in this manual is intended to draw your attention to possible risks. The safety 

symbols and the explanations that accompany them must be fully understood.

INTENDED USE 

The machine is intended for making separating cuts and cut-outs in wood, plastic, metal, ceramic plates 

and rubber while resting firmly on the work piece. It is suitable for straight and curved cuts with mitre 

angles to 45°. The saw blade recommendations are to be observed.

Class II symbol: this machine is designed with double insulation. It is not necessary to connect it 

to an earthed power socket.

WARNING. Read all safety warnings and instructions.

Failing to follow the warnings and instructions can result in electric shock, fire and/or serious 

injury.

This symbol indicates the requirement of wearing ear protection, eye protection, respirator 

and gloves when using the product.

This symbol indicates the maximum cutting depth in the Steel (8 mm). For your 

security, this value must not be exceeded. This maximum value may be reduced 

depending on the type of steel

This symbol indicates the maximum cutting depth in the wood (80 mm). For your 

security, this value must not be exceeded. This maximum value may be reduced 

depending on the density of wood.

Safety of the work area

Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.

Keep children and bystanders away while operating the tool. 

Electrical safety

The electric tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use adapters 

with earthed (grounded) tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric 

shock.

Avoid any body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, cookers and 

refrigerators.

Do not expose tools to rain or wet conditions. 

Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the tool. Keep the cord 

away from heat, lubricants, edges and moving parts. 

When using a tool outside, use an extension cable suitable for outside use.

Use and maintenance of the tool

Do not force the tool. Use the correct tool for your application. The correct tool will do the work better 

and safer in the conditions for which it was manufactured.

Disconnect the power cord before any adjustment, changing an accessory or before storing the tool.

Keep idle tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the tool or these 

instructions to operate it.  

Maintain the tool. Check that there is no misalignment or obstruction of the moving parts, broken 

parts or any other condition that could affect the operation of the tool. In the event of damage, have 

the tool repaired before using it. 

Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely 

to bind and are easier to control.

Before use

Before making assembly, changing and adjustment for any accessory, disconnect the tool from the 

mains supply to avoid any unintentional starting.

Please always check the mains supply voltage before use! It must correspond with the rating label on 

the appliance.

Remove any packing material and loose parts from unit.

Check the accessories before use. It should be fit with the machine and your purpose.

Inserting Blade

Blade are hot after use. Don’t touch blade teeth by hand! Please always use protective gloves to remove 

the blade.

          WARNING

When removing the blade, it may jump away from holder. Please always hold the tip of blade and keep 

it away from face.

Caution!

“T” shape blade only

Please always make sure the teeth pointing forwards, if the blade assembled in wrong direction, it may 

cause serious injury.

Accessories can be hot after use. Don’t touch the tip of accessory by hand! Please always use protec-

tive gloves to remove the accessory.

Parallel guide

The sawing distance can be set with the parallel guide. Steps are as following:

Insert a saw blade into the blade holder and clamp it. 

Loosen the screws and insert the parallel guide into the intended hole. 

Move the parallel guide until the distance between the tips of blade and edge of work piece corresponds 

with the required size. 

Tighten the butterfly nuts by hand.

On/Off switch

The machine can only be started by pressing the on/off switch first. Press rear part of the switch to 

prevent any unintentional operation.

The On/Off switch can be locked in ON position for continuous grinding by pressing down the front part 

of the switch

Keep the switch on before the machine reaches the working piece.

Before putting the jig saw down, please make sure it has been stopped completely.

While working, please always hold the machine tightly at the grip area.

Caution!

Never stop the blade by apply exerting pressure on the side of the blade.

If the machine will operated with vacuum cleaner, please turn on the vacuum cleaner first before use.

Speed control knob

The speed control knob can adjust the running speed from low to high. The bigger the number, the 

higher the speed.

Pendulum Adjustment knob

The Pendulum Adjustment knob has 4 settings. It can be used to control the distance and the quality of 

the cut according to the type of material.

Use a lower pendulum setting if you want to get better cutting quality. Setting 0 is selected for metal 

plates, sheets or splinter-sensitive material Setting 1 is selected for plastic

Setting 2 is selected for hard wood Setting 3 is selected for soft wood

Adjusting the base plate

The base plate can be adjusted in positions: 0°, ± 15°, ± 30° and ± 45°.

Caution!

Unstable base plate may cause serious injury for user. Please check carefully after each adjustment.

Dust suction

To assembly the vacuum cleaner, please follow below steps:

WARNING

When sawing metal, sparks can be generated; do not use vacuum cleaner and keep other persons and 

combustible material away from work area.

Application advice

For cutting a hole in a workpiece, please drill a hole by 12 mm drill first and then start the working from 

this point.

Do not use the saw with a cracked, blunt or damaged blade.

Do not attempt to cut objects thicker than the maximum cutting depth of the blade or when there is not 

enough space under the object for the blade.

MAINTENANCE

Keep the ventilation openings clear and clean the product regularly.

If accidence occurs during use, switch off the supply and disconnect the plug. Inspect and repair the tool 

before using it again. 

Repair of the tool must only be carried out by a qualified repair technician.

Repair or maintenance by unqualified personnel can lead to a risk of injury.

Use only identical spare parts for repairing a tool. Follow the instructions in the maintenance section of 

this user manual.

Caution!

If the replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has to be done by the manufacturer or his agent 

in order to avoid a safety hazard.

Care and cleaning

Clean the housing only with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly afterwards. Do not uses any solvents! 

STORING

 

Store the machine, operating instructions and necessary accessories in the original packaging. In this 

way you will always have all the information and parts ready to hand.

Pack the device well or use the original packaging in order to avoid transit damage. Always keep the 

machine in dry place.
